Super Class 2x 4hr Seminars – “Strobe It”

Wedding Photography Using Flash Practical
Saturday 17th January 1.30pm-5.30pm
Sunday 18th January 9am-1pm

These sessions involve shooting with on and off camera portable flash systems to move your flash skills to the next level. The Practical is based on wedding photography around the hotel to simulate wedding day images with a difference.
You will need to bring your own camera equipment and cards (speedlites also if possible)
There will be Canon Speedlites, Radio Slaves and Quantum Flash Units used on the demo.

Wow - just tested the New Cannon 5D MKII again whilst I was in Denmark Shooting and in brief it does what it says on the box.

The Camera was still a beta version so I am not allowed to publish the images which is a real shame as it acts and performs just like its old counterpart.

As soon as I can I will bring you the full pros and cons, but the iso and noise looks great, the image file is fantastic when opened, however I did not get chance to try the live video feed or shoot wireless with it.

I am disapointed that i have to buy some new batteries when my order is delivered as the MKII needs differenet ones to the original, but if thats all I have to moan about it will not be the end of the world.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II – Full HD 1080 Movie Recording
The Canon EOS 5D Mark II can shoot at 30 fps in full HD (High Definition) 1920×1080p video at 16:9 ratio, and at 640×480p, 4:3 ratio in SD (Standard Definition). Movie mode is accessed via Live View and still photos can be taken at any time while shooting videos. Files are recorded with .MOV file extension.

The Exposure mode, ISO speed, AF mode, drive mode, Picture Style, white balance and custom functions are all stored in the custom setting. The EOS 5D Mark II includes optional Wireless File Transmitter WFT-E4, so photographers can work free of cables as full-frame image files can be automatically transferred through a wireless LAN to a computer in a matter of seconds.

A Hi-Speed USB 2.0 interface allows rapid transfer of images from camera to computer, the ideal solution for shooting straight to hard-drive with the camera tethered to a computer in a studio environment, consequently providing full-screen previews of images as they are shot.

The EOS 5D Mark II is also HDMI compatible, enabling you to connect your digital SLR to HDTV sets, bringing your images to life in all their high definition glory.
