The 2009 SWPP & BPPA convention looks like a real winner once again with a whole host of speakers from around the globe as well as yours truly of course.
You might be fed up of seeing me by the end of the convention as I am speaking at the business school for the first time, hosting a full day seminar on Photoshop CS4 and practicals at the convention in both Master Class and Super Class Seminars again with brand new programmes and demos.
All bookings are of course via the SWPP & BPPA that includes the Super Class series, which are special small classes of 10 photographers with me and if its any thing like last year book these Super Classes as soon as possible as they quickly sell out.

Following on from last years sell out seminar at the convention Cleghorn is back doing what some say he does best, which is help get photographers their life’s back from in front of a monitor and back behind the camera.

Business School Seminar – “Squeeze The Juice”

Infectious is one word to explain a Cleghorn seminar and this new marketing presentation for the SWPP Business School will be no exception, as he plans to rip the flesh of the bones of marketing and getting straight to the bones of the matter.
Squeezing every penny out of a client does not have to be a hard sell, you just need the right client for the product or better still the right product for the client, in this session he puts forward ideas for future selling and to keep the client coming back time after time.
After running successful studios for 25 years Cleghorn as well as being a consultant to many top portrait studios is still a working photographer, shooting and selling in the real world instead of some fantasy land far far away. Renowned for his teaching skills in Lighting and in Digital he very rarely talks openly about his marketing and business strategies that he implements into some of the UK’s leading studios.

In these years Fashion & Glamour practical we will see a twist to the session as Cleghorn gets Naked to actually shoot a part of his “Body Bag Series”
Super Class 2x 4hr Seminars – “Back 2 Basics in the Studio”
Portrait Photography- Studio Flash Practical
Friday 16th January 9am-1pm
Saturday 17th January 9am-1pm
A chance to get almost 1 on 1 with mark in the studio, he will be teaching and solving photographers lighting problems. The Seminar is a Practical from start to finish, with delegates shooting along side mark and under instruction
You will need to bring your own camera equipment and cards
There will be Lastolite LUMEN8 Flash Heads and Accessories, Backgrounds and Radio Slaves used on the demo.
Super Class 2x 4hr Seminars – “Strobe It”
Wedding Photography Using Flash Practical
Saturday 17th January 1.30pm-5.30pm
Sunday 18th January 9am-1pm
These sessions involve shooting with on and off camera portable flash systems to move your flash skills to the next level. The Practical is based on wedding photography around the hotel to simulate wedding day images with a difference.
You will need to bring your own camera equipment and cards (speedlites also if possible)
There will be Canon Speedlites, Radio Slaves and Quantum Flash Units used on the demo.
