The new Flash Wave III is a compact radio slave system for wireless triggering of speedlite and studio flash units as well as cameras. The Flash Wave III provides sixteen individual radio frequency channels on a 2.4 GHz frequency band. A compatible shutter release cable allows you to remotely trigger your camera using a two step test triggering button, enabling you to perform auto focus and shooting functions as well as activate your camera from sleep mode.
The Flash Wave III employs a built in hotshoe and comes with a number of accessories including a PC sync, 3.5mm mini jack cable and 3.5mm – 6.3mm converter. The Flash Wave III is compatible with both studio heads and battery operated flash and offers sync speeds up to 1/250sec.
The Flash Wave III receiver requires two AA batteries, not included.

Synch Block - If you are using traditional cable based recievers for the likes of Skyport and Quantum and you flash is old or basic you may not have a PC synch port. If this is the case you will need this block.

Radio Trigger
The Elinchrom Skyport provides a realistic, inexpensive solution to having an ability to remotely fire most types of Studio Flash, not ONLY Elinchrom. This is dependent on the product purchased, some of the versions listed here only work with Elinchrom Flash Units. In line with this, using the right cables would enable a Skyport to remotely fire a portable flash gun such as a Speedlite 580EX II.

So Simple, So Advanced
The PocketWizard Plus II™ transceiver is beautiful in its simplicity. The Plus II an "auto-sensing" transceiver which automatically switches from receive to transmit as needed and reliably triggers lights and/or cameras up to 1600 feet away.
Utilizing advanced digital technology, four, 16-bit channels are available for selective firing of lights or remote cameras. Images can be captured at up to 12 frames-per-second, faster then any current DSLR. Quantum has long been the leader in wireless trigger devices. The Radio Slave 4i and the very recently introduced FREEXWIRE are designed to fire flash units (battery or mains operated) and/or cameras up to hundreds of feet away. Since these units use radio waves, the transmitter and receiver do not have to be in sight of each other, i.e. you can fire flash/camera or both even if they are in different rooms, hidden behind objects or even inside cabinets/cars etc.

Digital FreeXWire Units FW7Q & 8R & 9T
FW7Q. A RECEIVER unit for use ONLY on Qflash 4d & 5d units! Receives exposure information (TTL, f-stop & ISO) from FW9T transmitter. FW7Q is small, lightweight and contoured to mount flush onto a Qflash. Needs no cable connection and nor a battery. Range 300 – 600 feet.
FW8R. This RECEIVER unit works with ANY portable or studio flash unit for wireless triggering up to 1000 feet. Connect to a Qflash using cable FW31 for wireless TTL use. To fire digital or certain film cameras wirelessly a dedicated release cord is available. Range 500-1000 feet.
FW9T This TRANSMITTER works with these receivers: FW7Q, FW8R or FW10w (set to "receive").
