Getting the correct Exposure is not an Art it’s a Technique that can be taught and replicated time after time, to get the most out of you digital image.
If you rely on your camera to automatically set the exposure you will get one severe headache when shooting in the real world as the cameras auto exposure will over and under expose depending on the scene you are shooting and it gets worse when you zoom in and out of an image especially when you have a dark area with a light subject and vice versa.
So don’t risk it, work wise and take a manual meter reading and then set the Shutter Speed, F-Stop and ISO on your camera to get consistent results every shot.
