DVD OFF CAMERA FLASH – USING SPEEDLITES

This training film is based on every day speedlite techniques Mark uses to create portraits and products when only armed with a couple of speedlites when shooting on location.
Based in an office enviroment Mark explains and demonstrates his lighting techniques with a simple speedlite set-up, starting first of all by explaininng the variety of accesories he uses and the setting up of the speedlites and powering them, to the variety of umbrellas softboxes and gels used everyday.
Then setting up a shoot to simulate an business portrait Mark explains why and how he positions a speedlite to create a better looking image by adding a speedlite to a background, as well as pushing light through a glass block wall to illuminate the scene more.
Finaly you get to see a simple product shot on location using nothing but speelites and the control of TTL flash and ratios.
This film is a rare insight into the everyday techniques that separates Mark from the rest in both the basic lighting and posing to the animation of the subject.You get to see Mark shooting in his Real & Raw style with pieces to camera at all times.
